Congratulations! If you're reading this, that means you've just completed the writing workshop and are ready to embark on our writing marathon!
To get those creative juices flowing, we've placed four writing prompts from a variety of mediums below. You can select one prompt as a jumping-off point for your writing, or you can combine multiple prompts in one piece. If you already have an idea of what you want to write, that's fine too! Write what's in your heart at this moment - remember, the goal of this event is to trust the voice within. Whatever you create, we know it's going to be amazing!
Your piece doesn't have to be fully polished in order for you to present it at our Performance Cafe tonight (7pm). Just come as you are, and share your unique voice alongside other young writers!
All participants will have the opportunity to publish their work in a special-edition digital Continuist zine! After the event, you can polish up your work before submitting it to thecontinuist@gmail.com. ALL SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE BY THE END OF TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2021.
